DoJ Stands Up For Citizens
Just not for non-American citizens, or citizens who are Border Patrol agents.
On the heels of the still unresolved Fast & Furious scandal comes a story out of East Haven, Connecticut. It is reported that four police officers from East Haven were arrested for civil rights violations. According to the article:
All four officers were charged with conspiracy against rights. Spaulding was also charged with use of excessive force, making a false arrest and obstruction of justice. Zullo was also charged with use of excessive force. Cari faces the additional charges of making a false arrest and obstruction of justice. Miller was also charged with use of excessive force. The men face up to 20 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.
If true, these offices do need to be held accountable for their actions. But the Department of Justice tried to interject a sound bite that is so hypocritical that it made me want to regurgitate my breakfast:
U.S. Attorney David B. Fein said the “indictment should serve as a powerful message that we in the Department of Justice will not tolerate abuse of power or victimization of civilians by anyone in law enforcement.”
Right. Thanks for that piece of information, Mr. Fein. Perhaps your boss, Comrade AG Holder could take some that advice and come clean on the Fast & Furious scandal? Maybe those who are responsible for the deaths of Agent Terry and countless Mexican citizens could be held accountable for their actions?

ATF Seeking Gun Control
In what should be a huge surprise to exactly nobody (except for the Geico cavemen who have been living under their rocks), proof has been produced that shows the true nature of Fast & Furious. Drum roll please…..
Gun control.
Take a look at this post over on the Big Government website. Open the copy of the memo they have posted.
Then, judge for yourself.
It’s astounding to me that mainstream media continues to basically ignore this scandal. The lovefest they have for Comrade Obama and his regime is beyond belief. It’s been a year since US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed, and still, nobody is being held accountable.
I would say that I’m perplexed as to how some of these administrators sleep at night, but those who are evil have no conscience, so that must be how they do it.

You’re Kidding, Right?
Over at the blog “PJ Tatler” there is a story today titled:
Really? They’re serious, right?
Oh yes they are. The Obama regime’s information minions are all over CBS, and correspondent Sharyl Attkisson in particular, for coverage of the Fast & Furious scandal. It appears that other mainstream media outlets have turned a blind eye to the scandal, but CBS is still pursuing it.
I wonder how long it will be until David Codrea gets a request to drop his coverage of the scandal too, since he’s one of the two people who started the ball rolling.
